Dare To Say Thank You!

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Dave Loeffler. What a blessing to have a co-worker like him! Dave works so hard and is always a joy to be around. He and his workers, some folks know them from their singing days – “The Dock Boys,” have helped me tremendously with last year's Book Sale as well as the preparation for this year's sale. His attitude and willingness to take on tasks make him and his workers an irreplaceable asset for this library system.

I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaun Daniels, Chris Mabelitini and Rebecca Rumbley for taking on the huge task of planning and hosting the Thanksgiving Smorgasbord this year! This is Chris' first year and will be the second year for Shaun and Rebecca. Because of these three fine folks, we will all get to benefit from such a fine meal!

We need to let people know that we are talking about the day-to-day, helpful things that people do, not just big projects. Help us help you recognize the person's wonderful work by letting us know. "Dare to say Thank You" sponsored by the Libraries' Prize Patrol will appear monthly in The Owl. We will include everything that there is space for and if there isn't space, we will feature such items in the next issue.

Anyone can nominate a colleague, supervisor, or anyone else who has been discovered doing something well.
